Talking Offshore Black Sea Bass

Got out on an overnight offshore trip on the Voyager out of Pt Pleasant,NJ.
Fantastic weather, Fantastic fishing!. Left the dock at 1030PM anchored at 4AM caught fish at 4:02AM. The entire boat limited out by 8 AM.
All big fish. We were releasing 3 pounders. Pool fish was about 7 pounds. I caught a nice pollack early, biggest fish on the boat but did not count toward sea bass pool. I have 30 pounds of fillets in my freezer.

Lucky Jack - .......The Surprise is not old; no one would call her old. She has a bluff bow, lovely lines. She's a fine seaboat: weatherly, stiff and fast, very fast, if she's well handled. No, she's not old; she's in her prime.
