Thought about this movie today and noticed the strange console design, check it out.

Stamas, looks liek the front half of that console is canvas, probably used to hid the camera man while they film the overhead shots, and I'm sorry, I can't think of any reason to have a big console and a fwd cabin, just eats up was too much room, might as well have an express setup and have the large helm and the cabin

I think the dog house in front of the cc is for a hidden operater .So it appears to be going on its own after the guy is lifted out.

Spare got it right. Definitely a Stamas hull. I owned one way back in the day. They did have some odd console configurations over the years. Mine was a sport cabin style like the Parkers.
