Got out Saturday on the head boat Voyager for some bottom fishing. They ran up to The Farms looking for some ling (red hake). We did pretty good early and then it turned on well at 1:30pm to top off the cooler by 2:30.
I know, I know...Sorry, no pix. 3 of us got about 50 ling, a 3 Lb tog, and 6 BIG porgies. Two nice cod were caught on the boat, one by the pool winner and one by the captain. Several really nice black sea bass were released .Word is that BSB reopens Jan 1!!!! I think I might get in on that if there is a good weather day. Here in NJ the 3 to 7 Lb male sea bass stack up out on the 20 fathom wrecks in Jan.
