| Where to get windshield hinge wire ?

I see my V21 windshield is missing the hinge wire that hold it together - only the top section of wire ( thin peg )is there. Any ideas where to get replacement ? Thicker than a hanger wire but not by much. |

What about the wire they use to suspend a grid for a dropped ceiling? Should be able to get it in HD or Lowes It's just a little thicker than hanger wire. (Or maybe the aluminum wire they use to tie chain link fence to the posts)? (What about bailing wire)?

The windshield should have a stamp on it some place saying who made it. The old ones on the v20 was a Taylor brand. They did not make the windshield any longer, but at last look they still had hardware for them.

Why not use a finishing nail? They even make them from galvanized, aluminum and stainless.

A section of stainless welding rod might work too.
