Newt's the poster boy for the term "Washington Insider"..."Influence Peddler"...and ever other term you can think of for what's wrong w/American politics today...if this guy is successful, he will set BACKWARDS the little bit of headway toward getting our power back from the lobbyists who roam the halls of congress shopping for tax loopholes and political favor...His trip to Trump Tower (his bank) is a disgusting show of political corruption...oh yeah, that's right...it's right beside Tiffany's...hard to believe a THINKING American could toss away their vote on this man...

I like Newt.. I like the way he talks.. But I'd never vote for him. He's flipped on so many issues they should call him pancake. I'm a gun owner and fancier. Newt would take some of those guns away from me in the interests of "national security". He's a master political insider and career politican. That, in itself, would be enough for me to not vote for him.

Herman Cain is way too damaged..
Mitt Romney is a poster child for Obamacare and a perpetual second placer.
Ron Paul is actually pretty good, but I don't like his saying that we were responsible for 9/11
The rest of the field is little better.... EXCEPT for one person. That person spent their life in poverty, pulled themselves up and put themselves through school, started and had their own sucessful business, is presently a member of Congress, has stood for conservative christian family values and the Constitution of the United States throughout their entire career with no flip flops. There are those that may say that person doesn't have any experience, but to them, I would say that they have more successful experience then the traitor that is presently in the White House.
My vote, support and money is going to Bachmann.

I think the MSM 'favorite Pubbie of the week' is all part of a plan to elevate and then damage or destroy each Republican candidate. The format of the debates has been nothing more than a means to get the candidates to sling mud at the current 'front-runner'. The 2012 election is going to be a nauseating experience. God help US.

The MSM is scratching their heads wondering why all are running past the one guy who's fit to be POTUS on their way to support all flavors of the month...Huntsman's the only one in the field I can vote for...my only hope is he's allowed outta the GOP cellar to the top...Paul's the only other consideration for me, but his foreign policy worries me...

Can somebody comment on why Huntsman gets no creds...

Huntsman is OK, Bachman and Santorum are both OK, Newt has a lot of baggage, so does Romney.
Ron Paul has a lot of ideas I really like, and I believe he will do the things he says he would. Problem is his isolationist foreign policy would have left us with a Japanese owned giant prison camp in Asia and a Nazi dominated world if he was POTUS in the forties.
I do believe we are way over extended, and I do believe many significant changes must be made to our foreign policy and the shedding of our treasure.
But I do not look at the world with rose colored glasses and I know evil when I see it.
I am more of a Churchill guy and feel the Nevil Chamberlins of the world are what will destroy us.
All this being said, not a single vote has been cast yet, and I do not portend to know the why;s of how people vote.
But I do know this, to save this country from an absolute socialist I am going to support 100% WHOEVER is nominated for the Republican Party.
To do otherwise, would give us four more years of social division, an economic collapse, a federal government that controls all of our lives, a loss of liberty so profound that I would be ashamed of myself for letting it happen.

Reactionary voting...I know what ya mean...the lies he told and his passing the Patriot act stomping on our privacy rights pi$$ed me off over W and anything to the Right...that's the outrage that brought me to vote for Obama!!....I'm searching everywhere I can for someone to vote for other than Obama...somewhat due to my belief re one term is all any politician should serve, but largely due to the fact he has not delivered anything on the promise to run the lobbyists outta Washington...I heard him say it and it was a large consideration that lead me there...once he got in, the only story I heard was re he couldn't run the Raytheon folks out cuz they had too much TECHNICAL info for the gov't to live without...

...and that was the last I heard about it...
If the GOP will give me someone worthwhile to vote for, he'll get it...but if Newt's on stage when the dust settles, it's the Big O for me...he may be dirty, but he ain't filthy, arrogantly wallowing in it.

The biggest shame here is we have to decide who's the LEAST OFFENSIVE in deciding who gets our vote...but nothing offends me more than the selling of our gov't officials and the power structure ripped away from we the people and sold to rich and corporate greed mongers shouting free market...

My friend, I know you and I do not agree on a lot of things politically, but I do wish to say one thing to you from the bottom of my heart.
I don't care if Donald Duck is the opposing candidate and he wants to run Elmer Fudd as a VP, that is who we will have to vote for, maybe holding our nose, but that has been life in this nation for as long as I can remember.
To do otherwise is to doom our nation, voting for the Obama will be sticking a knife in the heart of our country and he will transform it into a socialist state.
That will be the only possible result of that vote for him and I know you see that he has done more to steal the liberties and defile our Constitution than anyone in history. His problem is not just the corruption as usual or actually as he has taken to a much higher level, it is his ideology of a Marxist State that is the higher danger.
The "People" that are spoken of so highly in the Constitution must make a stand here and now, no Marxism, no Giant Federal Government that controls all.
A vote for Obama will be the destruction of our Nation as we know it. Anyone can see it, we all know it.
Please think very hard about your last post, thats all I am going to say about it.
And I pray that others will see it to.

This country has come too far in the last couple hundred years and is losing too much for us to have two sh!tty choices to pick from come election time. A couple elections ago I decided I wouldn't play their little game and vote for the loser lesser of two evils the MSM and PTB wanted me to choose from. This country needs more choices than the same old D vs. R. I will vote for who I think deserves the position even if I write it in, even if there is no space to write it in. I will vote for Willy and Reel if there is no one else to choose from.

Well, Old Buddy...I don't believe for one minute that Obama or anybody else can turn this country into a
socialist State in 4 years or any amount of time...me and a whole bunch of others simply won't allow it to happen...not to mention the Republican controlled Congress is well entrenched to stop any serious moves in that direction...it just ain't gonna happen...as Bradford's pic points out, the real deamon that IS chewing away at The American Way of Life is 24/7 working hard to strip all the power and influence you and I have to shape the country into OUR best interests...putting Newt into the White House ithe epitamy of sending the fox to guard the hen house...he has been personally raiding Washington for every nickel he can squeeze out of it for the past 30 years while cloaking himself as a PUBLIC SERVANT...he is selling your vote to any and everybody he can...he's become an EXPERT at it...give him the switches and buttons he'll have access to from 1600 Penn Ave and the flood gates will open as never before...and every dollar flows through is YOURS...and the loss of YOUR INFLUENCE as a result of that power drain will be unpresedented...he is a very smart man...knows his stuff...talks a good game...right here in my hometown of Spartanbug SC, he made everybody on stage at Wofford College look like abject rookies when talking about foreign policy and gov't matters in general...and his numbers started rising as a result...and he has one goal in mind and that is to accumulate as much personal wealth as he possibly can at the expense of you and me w/out regard for our and our children's well being...

There is no doubt in my mind the greater, more immediate threat to you and me is political corruption among our lawmakers, far exceeding any realistic threat or possibility of our nation becoming Marxist...this ain't POLITICS...it's criminal; it's treason and needs to be stopped.
