I have two worthless checks in hand from scammers off Craigslist. I need to re-up there too. I don't have it in front of enough potential buyers is part of the problem. I have it at a consignment lot with 20,000 cars a day going by it every day, a few people interested, but not interested enough. Someone paid for a survey that turned out well but the gent was from upstate NY and shipping was $1700 and the potential buyer stopped returning my e-mails. I am tired of cleaning and waxing the boat every so often. I wash it three times and use it once, it has a full cover but it is hard to show with the cover on it.

Updated with some blue commentary and a new price. $21,000. Willing to seperate boat motor and trailer. It needs a new home folks.. Just put another 500 smackers into maintenance and incidentals. My back is still hurting from all the waxing and polishing. It is Slinger Clean and ready for a change of address. In a month or two I intend to start replacing the upholstry and the price will go back up. Noticed some cracks in the starbd side floor box hatch today. I paid to have both hatches recored in 2008. It is solid but will need some attention at some point as that is how the original hatches began to deteriorate. The fix was a couple hundred for both versus a new lid from Whaler at $400 each.
THANKS FOR LOOKING.

At the risk of an 8 page diatribe on what the price should be. I would like to see this boat gone. $21,000 and a full tank of non-ethanol 91 grade. A $640 value. Another cleaning on 10/1. Lots of activity but still avail. Engine hours are now at 425.

I love the thought of being down to 2 boats. It is tempting tho.... Your V catches fish,
![]() ![]() Continuous Wave, got it Phat. I hear you about attitude. I have not posted it in too many places, Whaler Mall, CL Tampa and here. If it were a 70's or 80's model Outrage it would already be gone. The Whaler purist dislike this hull. It is more of a deep V design with a small brow. No fewer than a dozen folks couldn't get financing. I am being told the boat appraisal from the bank came back just north of $25,000. Hull alone $16,000. The banks seem to want 20% down. Last deal fell thru at $23,700 after tax, customer had 10% down and a credit score of 680 and the bank said no. Still have one guy interested, his loan is approved but he works 14 hours a day?? I dunno what to make of him time will tell..

I'm with ya Phat. I'd probably like whalers more if so many of their owners weren't douchebags. Same goes for Georgia football. Best of luck with the sale Ridge, seems like a really nice one. It sucks trying to sell stuff these days.

Thanks for the remarks, it is a nice boat. Not all Whaler owners are douchebags Bradford, (excluding me, naturally). Let the diatribe begin... LOL!
You realize that by painting Whaler owners in a negative light, that you just ran off all my potential buyers. I mean who would want to own one now? Knowing from the jump that if they buy it they will be forever known as a douchebag? Now I will be forced to give it away at a reduced price in this economy and well, ain't life a biotch? You know I am just kidding around.. It is what it is. And the Continuous Wave Forum is kinda brutal at times. If I wanted to be crushed on a forum I can list a few more that get ugly at times..

Hey bro... at least I didn't call it PRICEY!!!! LOL!!!! Not all whaler owners are douchebags, especially not you or Phatdaddy! But think about it, here you have this excellent well maintained boat that you are selling for less than value and a forum that is dedicated to the same brand of boat turns their nose up at it. God forbid you tell them you like a McKee Craft. As I get older I have less and less tolerance for a holes who think some how they are better than the rest of humanity. That being said, anyone in the market for a high quality example of a well thought of brand of boat should highly consider Ridgerunner's 23' outrage. In fact, it is the only whaler currently on the market that Bradford on WellcraftV20.com won't think you're a douchebag for buying.
