obviously. Literally had a boat do a 90deg turn right at us one time. I had to reach in between the guy drivin the boat and slam the throttles cause I saw red and green ABOVE MY HEAD and our capt didn't!!!! PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS ON WHO YOU CATCH RIDES WITH!!!!!!Skunk - I like balls too!!........but just my balls j.k. If it were a 100mi I would've done 100mi. Why? cause I love it and I know I can't do this schizz the rest of my life.I encourage everyone to try it. I have seen some amazing things on overnighters/night runs before and they were all worth it!!!!!

She has a bluff bow, lovely lines. She's a fine seaboat: weatherly, stiff and fast, very fast, if she's well handled. also overnighted in the Hudson canyon in a 42' ...went out in 2-3ft with a great forecast, came back in 8-10 ft with some 12's thrown in... 4 hr run turns into a 10 hr nightmare. A V20 would have sank- no question about it. Please be careful. Find a buddy with a bigger boat and give him plenty of gas money and invite him on your redfish trips.

I appreciate your concerns but we are very selective about which days we go. I know that anything can happen but the same could be said for life in general.

Besides, most of my friends are broke and the oil companies have pretty much secured the fact that I won't be owning a sportfisher anytime soon........

Then again........we could run the V20 out 180 miles, run out of fuel, and wait for someone to come along and tow us in.
