Default Sponge Bob: A Pictorial

Capt Pete's Sponge Bob is a quite SPIRITED V-20 to say the least...I got off a few shots last week at Barnegat Bay...hope you enjoy the boat porn...

Take another look at the 2nd pic...that's Willy's bow rail approaching Sponge Bob...now look closely at Capt Pete's expression...hmm, looks somewhere between concerned and oh sh!t!!...no horrors to report though...I did get a chance to hop on and ride across Barney Bay w/Pete and his son, Jeremy...you can tell right away this boat was built up by somebody who KNOWS what the hell he's doin'...SOLID is the 1st word comes to mind...and I can tell ya Pete has gotten ALL 225 horses to the prop on the Bob...jumps outta the hole smartly, cruises with confidence and when he nudged the throttle ahead from cruise, it's a right sharp
response...moves ahead a plenty and there was plenty more left...
And Pete has one more trick up his sleeve....or rather on bottom of his
transom...you can see his underwater transom lights in his avatar when he posts...back in the Spring we were heading back in for the last time in Charleston just after dark...Pete had taken a different route back to the ramp and we got a nice view of him boot-scootin' across the water seemingly on a cushion of light...neat effect...UFO kinda thing...

Thanks for the kind words Oz.I'm very proud of the work I have done on my boat. I'm glad you took the time to go with us on it. Next time you can drive.

Good lookin' V20 Capt Pete. I like those early second generation caps and splash wells.

That is an awesome looking boat. Never seen a yellow V20 before, and i like the color. Only way it could be better is with twin 100s or 115s
That transom opening is huge! Why does his look better without bow rails than mine?

thanks guys. It is without a doubt a labor of love. I have a few ideas for this winter's project. If I can ever get my fathers V20 done.
