Default 25yr old mercruiser survives salt water

Maintenance is a player, since it is sea water cooled. Salt and sand muck along with a lay up period of use had clogged up the water jackets, actually cemented them shut in the heads. Because of a few sharpie's on this site, which I have total respect for, you'll notice the heads aren't original. You can tell by the center bolt valve covers along with the newer manifold. Now, the original heads are tire chocks!

...so I treated my power plant to some fresh paint, along with a cherry on top. [new mercruiser 260 decal]

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.

Love the recycling of the old heads.
