My 87 has foam, I fish way out there, & I like the idea that it won't sink.
Aussie, you can always just weigh the boat, mines a cuddy with a big 200 merc & aluminum tandem trailer, it goes about 3200 pounds. If you keep them under cover & keep your deck sealed & drains open wet foam is much less of a problem. Back to the original thread, did you get your truck to run cooler? I tried pulling mine with a Toyota T-100 I just bought, 150hp 4cyl, not bad until you hit the interstate!
