Year ??? V20 sterndrive in Boston needs work--$1900

Classic Wellcraft V-20 Steplift hull that came from the factory with a sterndrive. I'm 80 percent done with a repower job on it but work forces me to leave town for a few months. Boat would be worth double my asking price in April with the engine in turn-key condition. As it is this solid hull with solid decks and transom sitting on a Shoreline galvanized tandem trailer is a steal at under $2 Grand. Hi All,

I went to see this boat and it's in rough shape. The overall condition was less than what I expected for the price and the boat had been left uncovered for at least one season. The original merc470 was pulled and a ford v8 had been dropped into the engine box, unmounted, which is ok but I noticed the freeze plugs had popped out of the block making me seriously question whether the new engine was worth anything at all. I spoke to the owner for a while he said he had an out drive for the boat but it wasnt nearby and he couldnt find the ignition key. I could go on. Just my two cents. If anyone knows of a decent v20 in the Boston area please let me know.
