Goodness. Hate to hear that Slinger. Just make sure you/they do it right, you don't want to be crippled up for life. There will be other gatherings.
Hate to hear you won't be making it too BlueRunner. We will definitely have a toast for the ones that can't join us, Aussie, Destroyer, RKC, MJ off the top of my head. Better days are right around the corner.

Leavin' the house for Charleston & Spare's Get Together...we're all callin it SPARE'S deal cuz if it goes in the crapper, he gets the blame...
 Naw...it's gonna be a BLAST!!...Got the camera charged up for many pics and if I don't get on down the road, I might miss a few...ALOHA!!...

It's Thursday night @ 9:03 and I'm going to bed. Getting up and leaving around 3am for Spare's Deal.
Wish everyone could go, it would be nice to put a face with all the names. Got the rental car packed. Fishin with R Wilson and Willy, boy o boy is he gonna catch it. Can't wait to hear the stories Rob got to tell about the ride down. I'll drink 1 for everyone (1 for eveyone not 1 for each person) I'd be there next year still drinkin. But hey I'd get a head start for next years get together. Hope you boys have a good weekend and Lumber hope it doesn't cause you a lot of pain. Lee aka garagenc

Just an update....Willy and I have completed our first leg (longest leg) of the trip...pulled into Florence SC about 6:30 pm....Capt Pete was about 4 hours ahead of us so should be in C Town by now....hooked up with my old neighbors...hopped out of the truck and into his car and headed out for some Mex food.....just got back to the house, Willy is pourin' the Evan Williams Bourbon....see you boys in the AM!

I'm kinda busy today, trying to get a couple boats together for the weekend. Ya'll give me a call this afternoon. I'll be over at Mark Googers place(Oz knows where it is) this afternoon putting the power head back on the proline

I got home @ PM today,
Thanks Spare for a great time. I had fun boating, fishing and meeting your wonderful family. Vic: your daughter is a real trooper, she helped launch and trailer your boat each day and she knew what to do. Good for her and you it shows your teaching your daughter something she will always know and probably use thru out her life. Way to go being a good dad. I didn't get a pic with my camera of the "gift" we bestowed on his Majesty now known as "Willy Nation". Seems to me Rob and Reel got pics of the ceremony so I hope to see them posted on here in a few days. I also want to thank Captn Pete and his wife for letting me ride and fish with them in their pretty V20. Michelle caught the first and largest of the 8 black drum we boated Saturday. All in all we had the 8 black drum and 2 Red Drum. Captn Pete's boat caught the largest and most fish of the weekend so he holds that title until next year when my boat will be there. There are plenty of story's, some we can share and some that won't get told, You guys will have to go to the next gathering so you know "the rest of the story". BTW we discussed spreading the gathering around so we all have a chance to go visit different parts of the US. I think it's great idea. Thanks again Spare you did a great job at putting this together.

I made it home from Charleston late last night after a short 3 hour drive...I'm BEAT!!...So I'll post up some of the many pics taken over the last few days...got LOTS to choose from...even a little video if my limited computer skills will allow...Rob's V cutting the chop across the upper wind-whipped waters of Charleston Harbor...
Does video have to post on U Tube before here or what?...
