Default hydraulic lines

I have to replace the hydraulic lines to my power tilt. Any recommendations on what type to get? Is there a difference?

How much does it cost to get new lines made up?

Can this be done at any auto parts store?

Thanks for your help.

Hey Capt . I replaced mine last week , Went to my local Advance Auto parts store and bought Stainless steel lines and made them my self was done in an hour. Just use the old one's as a template. You can by them but they never seem to fit right at least with the older motors. Bring the old fittings with you more the likely there metric.

Picked up new fuel lines as well with the blue inner liner used for high pressure and shuold last alot longer now. There computer came up as new gas capable which is E10-E85 rated.

Thannks Mac.

I will check that out today....

I remember when I used to plow a lot of snow the lines were easily replaced. I think the snow plow moter is the same as the tilt motor so the pressure should be close.
