Default Boat ID

Just picked this up. Anyone know what it is? It has fittings for sailing; hole for mast in front, rudder in back, and slots for daggerboards that someone has glassed over.

Not a clue what it is but looks like it could be fun. Good luck with it.

Its a small sailing dingy that has been cobbed up for a small motor it looks like, to be used as a small boat.
Seen it done by sail guys around here with an old unused dinghy to use as a tender for their sailboat.
The hull bottom is what is throwing me with the Whaler looking hull.
I wonder if they made it?

It says "WILLY" on the back so you know it is a good boat.

Looks pretty sweet. Very whaler-like hull. I imagine with some TLC and paint it will be nice little beat around boat. Congrats.

Never seen a tri hull sailboat.

But I like it.

Can you read any old registration numbers on the sides?

After removing many layers of paint I found a HIN. It's tough to read but it looks like it starts with "CDO" but it could possibly be "CPO" or "GDO" or "GPO".

CDO - C-Dory Maraine, Auburn WA
CPO - CAPE FEAR FLOTATION, Southport NC
GDO - CHESAPEAKE COMPOSITES INC, Hollywood MD
GPO - GLAS-PLY, Snohomish, WA

The last four digits are "0183" which means it's a 1983, correct?

Google searches on all of the above didn't turn up anything that looks like mine.

Anybody?
