Default Sagging Deck repair - looking for ideas

So I was able to get a lot done on the V before launching this year, including reinforcing the existing lateral support that runs across just in front of the hatch on my 79 V.

Problem is that the forward area of the deck is still sagging between the bow and the existing support. See pic where the water is pooling:

I'm thinking of adding 1 or two more supports running cross wise, but wanted to inquire if others have had this issue and already have some ideas on how to fix. It seems the original wood (?) in teh deck has rotted over the years, so there's not a lot left in there to support the deck any more. No plans to take the whole top off at this point, but rather to find a way to effectively reinforce and raise it back up. It' not 'soft' per se, but not nearly as solid as I'm sure it once was.

Thanks for any/all input.
