| No sunshine on a cloudy day!

Felt the need to go fishing today. Seems like everytime I go the weather is less then desirable. That being said, I don't think I can complain. Boat ran great, caught some crabs(not the itchy ones), and I wasn't working. BTW, didn't go fishing for crabs but they were the only thing biting. They kept me entertained. Went to WM to picked up my new GPS and G2 Vision Card. They price matched a site on the internet plus the rebate. I saved $477.00. $277.00 due to the price match, and $200 rebate from garmin with the purchase of gps and card. Just incase your interested, I believe the rebate offer just started. |

Picture was taken in the Barnaget Bay just south of the Mantoloking Bridge. I went with the Garmin 541s. It has a 5" screen and came with a transom mount transducer. I guess it is a little late to ask but does anyone have any feedback on this unit? |

not familar with that particular unit, but i'm on my 3rd garmin, 2 hand held and a 2010 on the wellcraft. i think they have the gps market for smaller boats wrapped up. easy to use for us weekend warriors. i have the gsd-20 sounder on the 2010 and not that impressed with it. they have a gsd-22 out now that is supposed to be better. i'm sure you will be pleased with it.
