Blue Runner,
Great pictures! Everyone looks to be having a great time on the water. Sure is nice to look at photos like that in this cold weather. Love the one of the dog all snuggled up with a towel. That seat is exactly what I have. Do you know what year boat that seat came off of?
Glad you enjoyed pictures of the Rosborough. Have a friend that has one with the extend cabin but doesn't have the extended hardtop because they like to fish.Kind of gives the best of both worlds in a Rosborough.

Macojoe,
Holy cow!
Looks like you rebuilt that boat with starboard. Great job! Did you purchase the stock locally? That tackle center came out sweet.

I did something similar with our Parker. I built a bulkhead to inclose the V berth.
Here is a before pic.

Here is an after pic..

Yeah I like the dog on the bench seat too! She's a true boat dog no doubt. Her first day at the lake at 3 months old she fell in the water twice. Both times off the dock - once was due to her seeing her shadow - seriously! LOL

That parker looks sweet! It looks to me like you like to spend a lot of time on the water.

I don't know what year the boat was the seat came off. It belonged to a fellow "TMcGovern" on this site. I gave him 50 bucks for it which made me feel like I stole it.

TMcGovern has 2 pics in his profile. Here they are....maybe you can tell what model from the pics? I'm going to say late 80's early 90's?

Aha! I found it! Dug up an old post from TMcGovern just before I bought his seat.....check it out. He states, "I have an original 86 bench in my garage."

Here's the link!

inaforty; the plastics can be bought in Dorchester at;

http://www.jfreeman.com/panels.html

Looks like their prices have gone up quite a bit, but I think you'll still find them cheaper than the marine retailers.

Inaforty,

Great job on your boat! When can I swing mine over?

I need to do work on mine, but need to wait till warmer weather. When I had my garage built, I wasn't thinking "boat".

What did you use for the back mat on the passenger side dash? Mine is lifting up and would like to replace it.

Sorry, I was going back and admiring the pics and stuff and just noticed this.

Yes, it's mendall rd, not mendon rd. They actually are now moving to rochester.

RKC,
Your in laws live (or use to live) less then a mile from me. That black mat is original I believe. It was on the boat when I purchased it.
Did you check out my photos of the ramp at Sea View?

Blue Runner,
Thanks for that info on the seat. I have a pretty good idea that the one that came with our boat is probably a factory option with it being a 1987 model.
What is the motor your running on your V 20? Looks like a 150 HPDI Yamaha?
The Parker was a great boat but we need something more geared to cruising. For the folks that like to fish it is a heck of a boat. Got to meet Robin and Linwood at the Hartford boat show and showed them the work I did on the Parker. Linwood was very impressed and liked it alot. I brought 2 Portuguese sweet breads (local favorite) for the owner of BOATS inc (Niantic CT) where we bought our Parker. He gave one one of the breads to Linwood to take home with him. I often wonder how he like it....

chumbucket and macjoe,
Thanks for the info on your source for starboard. My brother in law and sister want to enclosed the pilothouse and build a bulkhead/sliding door on their 29' Backcove. This info will come in handy when he gets started.

Hi inaforty,

Yes I did see your pictures of the boat ramp. Looks like it will be a few more weeks 'till we can launch there...

My inlaws still still live there. Its the big obnoxious bright yellow house, it has my old sailboat in the driveway.

Inaforty - your very welcome. My motor - its a 2004 Yamaha TLRC - regular old 2 stroke. I got a great deal on it new in '05. My only complaint would be the 2 - 2.5 mpg but its been a good power plant.
