| What tank to get??

I'm looking at this tank for $176 plus shipping. So for about $260 I get a 40 Gallon tank. It's either that or for $400 I can get a 55 gallon tank. Decisions, decisions...

All depends on what your needs are?? For me most all my trips are 20 gal so the 40 would be perfect. My boat now (sea ox) has 110 gal and I still fill up after every trip, just habit I guess. And 90% of the time I put less the 20.

You running a "79 Johnson 150 horse? Most likely expect between 2-2.5mpg (that thing is capable to suck 22 GALLONS PER MINUTE) 40gals = 80-100miles, less a third = 25-30 mile range (1/3 there, 1/3 back, 1/3 for incase of problems). 55gals = 35-45 mile range. I'm not sure if the 225 horse will be a little or a lot worse or a little better. All depends on what you intend to do with the boat!

Better to have more capacity and not need it in my opinion.
