Default New guy on the block

Hey guys, was browsing looking for a cuddy cabin door and stumbled upon this forum. This is great. I've got an '84 steplift, and want to fix her up. Why isn't there an '84 manual for that year? Does anybody know where I can find a cuddy door? It's amazing that we all own a very sought after hull in an older boat. I had a '72 but a tree fell on it in an ice storm and just about broke her in half. Thanks for any suggestions or help.

Welcome SB, you will have to find one used off a part out boat or make it yourself out of wood or better yet starboard.

Hey Spareparts...does Carey still have the V you were parting out for him...that door was in salvagable shape if I recall...

Welcome to the site, SB...I looked at a mid-eighties V that might still have the door...let's see if Spare gets back here...

WELCOME COMRADE !!!
You have choosen well, my V20 gets a lot of attention and compliments at the gatherings, because its a very simple and the hull is good looking.
There is something about Wood, if you can, keep it and use it, it just looks majestic, but Starboard is 1000 times better if you want to avoid future maintenance and care.
Do yourself a favor, and install new wiring at every single connection on your boat, and use good switches and terminals, you will enjoy every extra cent that you spend on the boat`s wiring and electrical work.
