a friend of mine has the aluminum support that came off of his 20 Seacraft. He bought the boat knowing it needed a transom, and soon after we stripped the boat of all gear, he caried it to the fiberglass shop. The plate was made by a profesional welder, someone spent a lot of time and money building it,(can't understand why they didn't put that time and effort into fixing the transom) It is designed to change a 20" transom to a "25 and it form fits the splashwell on a 20 Seacraft. If any one is interested, shoot me a PM and I'll send some pics

That looks like the one that came on my boat, of course mine made a 20" transom into a 23" transom.

That is actually the metal plate that Doc Brown wore under his lab coat when the Libiyans came to shoot him in the JCPenny parking lot. Fortunately Marty McFly was able to warn him from the future ;D
