Default Thanks everybody

Hey guys,I would like to thank you all for welcoming me to the forum. I cant wait for the weather to warm up and quit raining so I can start working on my boat,It seems my crankcase is full of chocolate milk, so that is the first of many issues I will be dealing with. Im hoping its just a cracked exhaust manifold. And to C Y, since we both have the same type of boat, im sure I will need to pick your brain at some point in the future, thanks in advance. And thanks everyone else for such a great forum!

In these times the question os how much gas does it use!!

The Sea Ox now has a 175 and I will tell you I thought it was going to be way under powered, but to my surprise is goes pretty nice and uses crap for gas!

I have Merc 2.4 prop 15 x 15 1/4 I top out right at 30 knots and cruz all day at 25 knots.

Drove 20 mies out and back and trolled 5 hours, never shut the motor off for 6 1/2 hours and only used $32 in gas!! I forget what gas was selling for at that time?? Begining of November.

CB was with me and when I called him to tell him he was No way.

By the way CB did you ever pay me for gas that trip??

As of yet, I haven't been able to take the boat out and run it, so I don't really know how fast it will go. I was actually gonna ask C Y that same question about his boat. I still have some issues I need to address before I can take the boat out. The boat sat for a while, so I need to rebuild the carburator. I also need a new impeller in the lower unit and change the fluid and after that I can take the pig out to the bay and see how fast it can run. :)
