and the verdict is.....
went over and finally got the new water hose on and new thermostat in.....and......
SHE LIVES!!!!!!  she fired right up and ran like a champ at the dock. had her at cruising RPM till she warmed up and watched the thermostat kick in..... Watch out boys.......IM BAAACCCCKKKK

Thats great CY, what happened to it and what did ya have to replace?
They're good motors. I just helped my buddy rebuild his 22 year old 170. He didnt know how many hours it had on it. It runs great now.
