Default rust on the steering arm

Can I make the assumption there is enough metal on that steering arm to not worry about the rust that's up under the motor? I've never heard about one of those things breaking and replacing it is more than I want to mess with right now.

Johnny/Rudes yes many have rusted and broken just ask Stink he had one break while wot. Sand blast the arm and prime with zinc self etch primer and then repaint.

mines in real bad shape. i tried skools method and it worked for a coupla years, but now it is back with a vengence. i'll have to change it soon major PIA
