PH - Sorry, I ate it all up. Well, not all that sorry.

S - Yeah, we laughed about that. We were right by the freeway bridge, and a couple of other major highways. Of course, we had to get after it later, but it was nice to be on the river when the other poor guys were on their way to work.

RMB - I went with the same guy I caught this with to Alaska a couple of years ago and caught a couple of nice Kings and served them at my son's wedding. They must have been good - when I finally got to the chow line, they were completely gone. If you get a chance to go with your Pop, take it.

Blue - No, not a trout, but close relative. This one's probably a jack (came back early), but they grow up in the salt water and come back to spawn. We have a pretty good Spring and Fall fishery (usually), but it's no sure thing that you're gonna catch one when you go out.

Here's a pic of the one my buddy caught the week before - about three times the weight of mine and really bright. Look at that s-eatin' grin - I told him he was a swine but the grin just got bigger.

Wow!!!

Now that is a SALMON.

I plan to go to Alaska some day soon, if I could just get my 3 kids to stop wanting food and clothing, I could go now.

RM - About getting to Alaska. We got a Visa card that accumulates air miles and try to buy everything we possibly can with it (groceries, clothes, gas and I buy as much business stuff as I can) and pay it off every month. That way you can feed and clothe the kids, pay no interest and fly to Alaska to go fishin' for FREE. I know - the fishin's not free, but it helps.

RAP - We're doin' our best to make 'em green with envy (like you guys make me with your pictures of all those Stripers, Cod, and fish I never heard of back there).

P - Post the pic's when you get back.
