Makes sense since I see many more Cuddy's in my search. I'm 6'1", wondering how much room down below with the cabin?

I'm 6' 0" and I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time in that size cabin. For my like's, the V20 cabin is at best a storage area or a quick clothes changing/pee cabana for the ladies.
If I'm going to have a cabin boat, I want something I can at least sit up straight in without hitting my head. this is just my personal preference. Otherwise give me the fishing room of a center console. Everything in boat design is a compromise (or a trade off if that term fits better) in one way or another. There is no such thing as a perfect boat for everyone. You have to decide what will work best for your on the water pleasure. My wife isn't a big boating fan. So, the majority of my time on the water is geared towards fishing. Therefore center consoles or "open boats" as opposed to cabin models work best for me.

im only 5'9" and use the cuddy as storage. the wife has used it, as chumbo mentioned, to use the potty. the kids will lay down in it for a minute or two but as for normal sized humans. . . . forget it.

Well said! I'm going to stick with my search for a CC. I see so many that are cuddy it's making me question whether I should get one. When I think about what I want to use it for (fish meat in the freezer) I really know that I want the increased deck area of the CC. Thanks for helping me stay focused. Now to find that boat...... :D
