If it a 170 I/O and closed cooling system the block may be ok but probably froze the heat exchanger and maybe busted the riser. Hope it had plenty of antifreeze in it. I just cant see how anyone could leave it like that! My old V is wrapped up snug as a bug and winterized two months ago!

Why wouldn't the marina have pulled the boat

The marina doesn't have it's own ramp so the boat would have to be towed to the local ramp. Then put on a trailer which may or may not be registered. Too much liability ??

Can't you run the registration numbers and find out who owns it? I'd like to rebuild another I/O V20, wish it was closer!

Forty.... What marina was this at.... I may have to take a ride and check it out
I wonder if the owner passed and his family doesn't know the boat is there or even exist?
