I googled this, and I found a wide mix of reviews. why no foam on the tank? I would think that it would hold the tank more securely than just 5200. I can understand the starboard over the wood spacers that is a no brainer. Is it simply the condensation? I figure the existing tank lasted 30 years....

So as I was grinding and sanding today, I got to thinking. I am planning on cutting the existing stringer glass to about 1 inch off the hull glass and replacing all the stringers w new plywood. Do I need to worry about the hull flexing and moving? What is the best way to support the boat? It is on the trailer now.
