Back before I discovered the V-20, I found a "V-17" w/a full windshield...wanted that thing really bad cause I coulda used the old Rude 140 I had at the time...It was in the "boneyard" at a boat dealership...the trailer sucked and the guy wouldn't budge on the price...Never have seen another one like it since...

SeaBird built a V18 way back when....it was a clone or closer to the V20. They also had a V20. The Wellcraft 17 Fisherman was a beautiful boat, I've rode and drove one....it's a real classic. It has the same hull as the V20, just scaled down. The only negative I saw was it was a little tricky when transitioning from displacement to plane. Other than that little flaw caused by a small boat with steep deadrise, it was flawless. I think 1800 bucks might be a little steep though.
