Default Seating Issues

I've already decided to replace the passenger back to back seating w/ a storage box/ bench seat(pics in modifications), but what have you guys come up w/ for the drivers seat? I don't like to sit that low when I'm driving and it's a killer on the back anyway. When standing, the seat is touching the back of my knees and the wheel is on my thighs. After seeing pics of some of you guys, I know that I'm not alone here. Anyone put a single leaning post behind the wheel? I've seen a perfect seat that has a section that folds up for standing, but it's a little pricey. Thanks

2nd you are right, I dont think I would put just a free standing leaning post, I think I would build or buy a narrow version of what they have on a center console with either a seat on the back, facing backwards or storage or livewell etc.

Mj has a captains chair that the pedestal slides within the base. I think he posted a picture somewhere.

CB is right, they also make a seat slider so you can move your seat back or forward like a car.
This one the post goes back or forward, and the bottom of the seat folds down out the way and you have a leaning post. I love it!
T have no idea were you would get one as CB found this one on Crigslist and I went and bought it.

MJ's seat is exactly what I need. I bet it costs more than I paid for the boat. I'll keep my eyes open, you never know.
