Default Rod Holders & Tackle Storage

I've already replaced the 2 plastic gunwale rodholders w/ stainless and added 2 more. I used a holesaw on the rodbox inserts to make them fit. I'll use Rodriggers/Outrodders to angle the rods for trolling. For those not familiar with them, they're great for a small boat without outriggers.

My question is, where to mount vertical rod holders? I have a few options but no "perfect" spot. What have you done?

I'm considering replacing the short divider for the engine well w/ something taller and mounting a 4-rod holder there. It holds knives and pliers also. I'm looking for a deal on a piece of teak or starboard now. I'm also in the planning stage of a box to replace the old front/back passenger seat. I'll install 2 4-drawer tackle trays next to each other on the long side facing the drivers seat. I think I'll have room for a couple of rod holders on the short aft facing side. I'll use a cooler seat cushion on the top and probably hinge the top to store rarely used items in the remaining space.

How have you dealt w/ rodholders and tackle storage? Thanks

CB and I built this out of Starboard when i had my V, It was the best single thing I had ever done!!
We are planing something for the new boat right now, but believe it or not there isn't as much room on a 23 footer?
