Default UPS AGM Batteries for boats :)

Guys - I came across a pretty sweet deal this weekend on AGM Batteries and I thought I'd pass along the information. I went to a battery recycling/reconditioning shop in Sacramento called Big Hog Battery service to drop off some old cores. I got a pair of Northstar NSB100FT AGM batteries for $40 each military surplus. He offers a 2 year warranty on all batteries. If you guys ever need batteries . . . might be worth calling around to some of these little shops to see what they have. Big Hog has a pallet of group 24 shaped UPS AGM batteries too that are $40 too.

Specs are better than the Optima Blue 31M which are $250/each new.

NSB100FT 99.4 900 1150 200 15.59 4.25 10.04 66
NSB115FT 112 950 1260 230 15.59 4.25 11.3 73
NSB130FT 125.9 1050 1330 250 22.05 4.92 8.94 84
NSB210FT 209.3 1400 1700 400 22.05 4.92 12.6 128

MJ - I'll see what I can do. The roadmaster is leaving here on May 17th full of my last load of junk. If I have room for some extra batteries . . . I'll load up.

I suspect that you can find these types of deals at other places. No need to ship batteries from Sacramento to Miami.
