I found this engine on ebay. I thought it was a pretty good price if you could make sure it was in good shape. The guy sold it to a non paying bidder for 1000$ but it was never picked up.

Ebay has some great deals!! I was lucky and scored a real nice 225 Evinrude for my boat, runs great!!

But you have to be careful on a motor you can't ck out! Talk to the guy and see how he sounds. feel him out a little. Most people are honest, but there are the few!

thanks mj. ya I have gotten taken once on ebay with a d.o.a. welder and the seller didn't want to take it back. It wasn't a good experience. But about the engine I posted it for anyone that might be looking for a motor I thought it would go well with a V. I am not ready to get a motor for my boat yet. I still don't have a transom that would support the weight of more then a 5hp lol.
