Default Crow doesn't taste so good and its hard to swallow

Eatin' crow today after the Colts went down to the Chargers. Man, those guys have the Colts' number--3 wins in a row. I thought the Colts had it, only to let the backup QB and running back take it 78 yards down the field for the go ahead and winning score.

Good luck to all you New England, NY, San Diego and Packers fans out there.

Sorry Nip. I would have liked to see Indy win that game yesterday. I look at it like the world Series. If you want to win the Series, you have to go through the Yankees.
The NYG; I wouldn't put too much faith in Eli Manning. Plaxico Burress is all they have going for them.
SDC; I don't like Rivers. Like the Giants, Tomlinson is all they have going for them.
GBP record looks good, but they really don't look that good on the field. Farve is getting old now with a tired arm.
The one thing that worries me with NE is their defense is starting to look tired. But, I think they can pull this one off.

Chum, your assessment is right on the money across the board, the Pats look like a pro team playing a college team half the time.
The only thing I would add is this, one don't ever count out the old arm that is looking at maybe his last year in the league he lives for, and the team that will bust a gut to give it to him.
And don't count out Eli and the gang cause sometimes heart will overcome all obstacles. We have all seen it time and time again in all aspects of life:up:

I don't count anyone out. Ever. Like most are saying, Eli owes his new found determination to the Patriots. It was after that game that he finally stepped up. He just doesn't have the same slingshot passing accuracy that Brady or Farvre have.

CB, I am on your side and a diehard Pats fan.....BUT, the Chargers do have more than just LT. They have one of the best backup RB in the league....Michael Turner. They have the best tight end by far in Antonio Gates (although Watson aint too shabby)......Antonio Cromartie led the league in interceptions. Lorenzo Neal makes many of the holes that LT runs through and is a Pro Bowl fullback. I'd take Shawne Merriman at LB any day as well. In fact they have 8 Pro Bowlers like the Pats.

That being said, LT, Rivers, and Gates are all hurting......plus the Pats are just better and just plain know how to win. Streak continues.....I was impressed with young Eli's drive to end the first half. Nice to see him get the spotlight while big brother has to watch for once. He seemed to turn a corner starting with the Pats game. 8 TD and 1 INT from then on while he had 19/19 before that!

Woulda' liked to see the Pats play your Colts way more than Sandy Eggo. That game would have had a greater potential to be of historic proportions. As for the Super bowl I'd rather see GB as we have the '96 Super Bowl to pay them back for. Right after that game The Big Tuna bailed on NE for the Jets amidst much controversy. You all know who took the helm after that.
