Willy,
I don't know what you have been catching in your G-3, but apparently the boats are offshore capable for billfish. :o

That is a hoot, that boat is a modified v basically a flat bottom boat used for shallow waters mostly. Beat the living snot out of you in a chop but well made and tough. My G3 is the 17 Outfitter deep V with a 14 degree deadrise, much more off shore capable than that puppy.
Maybe I will go billfishing out to the stream ;D
