Default Beaufort inlet, cape lookout AR 315 tuesday May 30

It Looked to be an excellent day but I could not get on them anywhere. No blues at all and only two legal spanish for a long day of trolling. Never saw any birds working and I was at the inlet at sunup. All my secret weapons let me down and I tried shallow, deep, very deep , 1.400 ,1,000 , 800 RPM 's etc but it just did not happen. Some days I think its just too nice for the fishies to bite. The two spanish were in 40 feet of water on 20ft planers so they are probably deep now that the water is warming up.. Frank

Crap, it looks like I jinxed you when I asked if you had ever been skunked...sorry captain.

BUT, you still didn't get skunked, so keep your head high and wax their arses tomorrow!
