Default Good source of replacment teak

After seeing some of the pictures here I want to replace some of the teak thats missing in our 74 fisherman,the front door under the deck is missing the ****-pit door is now plastic and both boxes in the back are plastic, where is a good place to purchase teak from?....Ted

there was just some talk here on teak. Seems there is some other kind of wood that weathers like teak but much more durable?
Might be a better choice??

Ipe wood or Iron wood??

read this thread 4 pages long, I think the wood mentioned is on page 3

Ipe (Ironwood) is alot like teak with the following exceptions.

It is about 1/3 the price.
It is about twice the weight.
It is harder to machine. (you need powerful woodworking tools with carbide blades and bits.)
It is usually darker in color.
Grain is straight like teak and has few knots.
It will not burn, float, and it may not ever rot.

Ipe is used for premium decking and is IMHO the best material for that purpose. It now being used for decking on the Atlantic City boardwalk. It weathers like teak to a silver grey.
