My boy Joey called me while ago saying that with the new NC saltwater fishing license we no longer need the HMS permit for Atlantic tunas, swords etc. *

I said BS, the HMS is federal and the other is the state license. *His argument is that on the state regulations they list the regulations for BFT and YFT and there is no mention of HMS. *Well there is mention of it in the fine print at the bottom.

He kept going back and forth with me on it to where I finally called NCDMF and let him hear it from them *::)

Its only $22, so no biggie. *I buy it just in case a YFT jumps on my line. * ;D
