Smile Distress flag

I bought a orange colored 3'x3' distress flag for the V20, after taking the required California boating course I realized I didn't have a good coast guard approved daytime signal other than expired flares. $10 Orion flag from Amazon, hope I never have to use it.

My son got me a automatic inflatable life vest cause they past a NEW law in nj that from October till April you HAVE to wear a vest if your boat is under 20 feet in lenght so I guess if your boat is over 26 feet it's ok to drown according to the law makers.

Step, here in New York we've had that law for a while, ours is from November 1, - May 1. If you have a boat over 21', it's sink or swim.
