I use to get lead sinkers from Sammy sinker but he passed away, does anyone who lives in NJ know who sells lead sinkers ? Not the stores they are to expensive. I use to pay 10 cents a ounce.

I used to make my own, but my source for lead dried up a few years back. (used lead weights from tires) When you add up the cost of fuel to melt the lead and the cost of the molds, to me it's just easier to buy new when I need them.

heheh, Lead sinkers haven't been 10 cents an ounce in this century...
I buy in bulk 5 lb boxes on Amazon Prime. Best prices, get them in a few days.

Last time I bought online, I think it was 10lbs of 3 oz bank sinkers. Took my crew about 2 years to break all those off. Thanks for the reminder....I need to re-up.
Buying online - hooks, sinkers, etc - is the only way to go. Tackle stores around my fishing grounds would be 5 - 10 x more $$$$. Plus, they get delivered.

Thanks guys but I found a guy who makes sinkers for $.15 cents per ounce. A 25 lb box of five ounce sinkers (400) ounces. Cost $60.00. I think that's a good price today. I remember paying $.7 cents per ounce but those days are gone now it's Sammy sinkers son doing it.
Blue runner don't delete your response. It's all good
