So I’ve been hitting it with liquid wrench every other day for about a week now. Lightly tapping it with a hammer hoping to shock the threads into sucking some of that penetrant in. Took a wrench to it yesterday and it’s on there pretty good. I have to imagine it’s the original 30 year old hardware.
I don’t want to gorilla this thing off because I figure if I damage the fitting on the tank (plastic), I’m done for. I’m gonna go down today and repeat the process of spray, tap and twist. If it doesn’t give, I’ll do it again tomorrow and every day until something gives. Unless anybody has a better idea…. I’m all ears.

Take your new bulb and a couple of pieces of fuel line down to boat. Hook up to tank and pump into a jar
If it flows ok, clamp off fuel line downstream of bulb. Then pump till ball is pressurized and see if it holds You might be fixing a problem you don***8217;t have |

I dought its the anti Siffon valve fitting, if you loosened the fuel cap and still had the problem then I would look for another issue . I think your over thinking the problem
Think of this. The fuel goes from the tank to the engine using a hose so if your bulb is callapsing that means there is a blockage Change the primer ball. See if you can pull the pickup tube out of the rank, their might be blockage on the end of the tube. Last but not least. Change the fuel line You might have something floating in the fuel tank that gets caught on the tube. . Try running it on a portable fuel tank and see if it goes away. If you still have the problem than wait for Spareparts .

Only way to get at tank pickup tube is to pull anti siphon valve.

Hmm, I think I saw a fuel cap that is also a vent built into it, but I'm not sure. Check google or wait for Spareparts
Hey Charlie I'm not on Facebook anymore, I don't know how to delete my Facebook so I unfriended everyone, The best thing I did. Why don't you try running it on a portable fuel tank? That will narrow it down . If it still callapsing then the primer ball is the enemy.
