Default Most dangerous time in modern history ?

1. Putin and his threats to use nuc’s …….or

2. The Cuba Missile Crisis

Cuba had a “ threshold moment” when Russian ships were headed to Cuba and we had navy military blockade. So I’d say that crisis had greater immediate risk of nuclear war, BUT Putin may be less stable a leader and that’s a big risk .

Yep, agreed. We were VERY close during the Cuban missile crisis. Much more than most people know. A Russian sub commander had actually pushed the button to launch an atomic warhead tipped torpedo at an American ship. Fortunately, that action required two senior officers to launch, and the other one refused. If that torpedo had been launched it would have been all out nuclear war and none of us would be having this conversation right now. If anyone survived they would be living in caves and hunting with clubs and spears.

And NOW we have the murderous dictator PUTIN who’s new approach seems to be a long duration war campaign to destroy Ukraine under his insane claim of “ killing nazis”

Under BIDEN, WE are supplying Ukraine with increasing amounts of weapons - which may give them parity on the battle field. The intent is to weaken Russia’s military while also sanctioning them to break their bank.

Putin continues to threaten using nuc’s which would create a potential devastating scenario.
I’m thinking our Command has increased OUR alert status, though wisely NOT publicizing .

Whatever our command is doing, it is wise to not publicize it.

Do you recall my mentioning what damage Biden did by blabbing all kinds of information about what he ignorantly took off the table, even before Russia invaded? It’s a major problem is that Biden is NOT wise. Whether due to dementia, no real executive experience or he’s just a stupid arrogant person, he doesn’t have a clue that everything he says and does is a negotiation, and he is a very incompetent negotiator.

I wonder how many Ukrainian deaths he is personally responsible for due to his foot dragging getting weapons to their military?

You’re right about it being a very dangerous time, and it’s much more so because of our incompetent leadership.

Dangerous, in large part, because he saw a very weak, incompetent American president he could bulldoze. He’s finally paying a price, but at the cost of massive Ukrainian death and destruction - a scenario which never happened under Trumps presidency, but has under both recent democrat presidencies.

Once again, you completely ignore the truth that’s pointed out to you.
