Why Trump just got BOO’D by his supporters

So Trump says YES when asked by Orielly if he got COVID boosted and supporters bood him .

Why ? Why are Republican trump voters DYING in greater numbers than BIDEN voters ?
Why did trump supporters BOO trump for getting the vaccine booster ?

Trumps comments come as a relatively large percentage of Republicans have refused to get even initial doses of the coronavirus vaccines, and as GOP governors resist vaccine and mask mandates. The Kaiser Family Foundation found in a recent poll that as of October, 60% of unvaccinated Americans are Republicans.

So what is obvious - trump followers want him to stick with mocking masks and spewing disinformation about Covid which included “ covid will just go away, we have it under control, there were just a few cases, Fauci’s wrong, etc etc etc.”

Vice President Pence, President Joe Biden and others made a PUBLIC display of getting their vaccines for the RIGHT REASONS - to encourage Americans to do the same.
Meanwhile trump got his vaccines very privately so his base supporters might not know .

I simply do not understand you. One the one hand you accuse Trump and the Republicans of spreading disinformation about Covid and masks and shots, (none of which is true) and on the other hand when Trump says he got the shots and the booster and he got booed for saying he did (and in effect saying that they are good to get) you jeer at him for doing so. You just cannot give him credit for anything can you?
