Worst boat I’ve owned was actually because it wasn’t enough boat for my use.
Was 16’ aluminum Mirrowcraft Deep model with side console and 40 hp. I fished that boat hard and it pounded real badly in any sort of light chop. By the time I sold it we had a bilge pump set up to keep up with the leaks . That plus the limited room on the boat and “ clip on” seats that kept falling off …. Not nearly enough boat for my use |

Worst one i have ever owned i a 1974 19 ft mako w 115 Johnson. Was and extremely wet boat with the transom cut way to low. Almost sank it several times while diving on it. Two divers hanging on the swim ladder in a choppy sea was a recipe for disaster.
Second worst one, i still have, 1964 13 ft whaler. Unless the wether is perfect, this boat will beat u to death. I swear, it was designed by the American Chiropractic Society. It reminds me of a motorcycle. When the weather is right, it s a blast. You gotta pick your days. |
