Default The cure for high oil prices

Is …….high oil prices !

At $80 a barrel the private equity drillers are making good money and will add a LOT of supply.
Yes, a LOT of supply.
That plus oil prices tend to fall around this time of year is hopeful.

No it’s not a guarantee but watch and see

If our ports shifted to a 24/7 schedule all the loads could be moved off the ships

First, they can't go 24/7. They tried it already and the result was it didn't work. The problem is not the ports, the problem is a lack of drivers to drive the trucks. So the merchandise just sits while waiting for truckers to be available to haul the goods. News 12 (Optimum/Cablevision, our local and very pro democrat cable network just did a article about that very thing yesterday. Look it up. Very interesting. You might learn something.

Second, where did you learn economics? if/when oil hits $80 a barrel then the COST of fuel made from that barrel will be passed along to the consumer. The price will go UP. Fuel costs less at $65 a barrel because the cost to produce the fuel is less. Gas in NUJ just went up another 5.8 cents a gallon yesterday. and the 8 cents a gallon reduction in the gas tax did absolutely nothing. The stations just pocketed the 8 cents and kept the prices the same. This whole thing, shortages, fuel, etc. is starting to smell to high heaven of our government manipulating prices to promote their climate change agenda spending trillions more that we don't have on things we don't need, while controlling us.
