Default 2 stroke oil?

Today I was in Walmart and they have two gallons of
Quick silver DFI oil for 2 strokes synthetic oil for 5 dollars and the reg price was around 30 dollars I was reading it and it said its for direct injection 2 stroke engines but nowhere did it say TCW3 , so I didn't buy it cause I have a older Mercury outboard two stroke carb, my question is this,,,,can I use it? Is it also for older mercs ?

DFI oil is meant only for direct injected engines. It is not meant to be mixxed with fuel.
