I'm going deep for sea bass, maybe hit stripers on the way in.Been rumors of BFT at Barnegat Ridge and randomly inside of the 20 fathom line. Hoping to find some at SR reef.

I also heard stripers were slow today. A lot of boats at the 3 mile line off Lavalette.

We trolled close to the 3 mile line north of Belmar........it was very slow but we picked 2 nice fish around 38" and 33" and a bluefish that we released. All hit the upper mojo.

Didn't see any bunker, or bird action except for on rain fish.

Nice day as it flattened out. We were back at the dock by 1pm.

Sea bass at SR reef was a bust...only 7 keepers between 4 guys.
I guess they moved out to the 40 mile wrecks.

Jigged some short stripers on the way in under birds... tons of sand eels. 7 miles out. All really small fish. Looks like its about over.

Again, lots of boats flirting with the 3 mile line off Lavalette/Seaside Heights
