Default Much improved fishing

With a tip from Step Up we got on some solid fluking South of Belmar N.J.
fish were not wide spread but found a piece of bottom that produced so we stayed on it.

After that tappered off we went north and found the largest seabass of the season to 17”
Drop and reel action .....keeping our 3 man limit of the biggest 6 fish.

Thursday in a stiff north wind we fished all day for 3 keepers between three of us.
Big one was 7 pounds. Lots of shorts in 45-50 ft east of red church. Went up to rattlesnake and got 5 nice sea bass. Needed 10 oz or more to hold bottom. I think we lost 15 pounds of lead between us.
