not sure if I want to go with a traditional V or a skiff. whaler.... wahoo.... Carolina.... maritime.... McKee..... sundance..... i want economy to run and gun in the bay and the capacity to run a few miles offshore on a nice day. reliable motor. the first time something goes wrong and I have to sink some dough into it she's gonna go through the roof. her minivan will be paid off in a couple months and then I start looking with a vengeance. this will be my very last summer without a boat.

I don't know much about the boat, but I've heard good things about them. As to the suzuki, corrosion is your enemy. They're great engines, but suzuki has ALWAYS had problems with corrosion. They use alot of zincs, and most owners are not good about keeping up with all of them.

The corrosion may have already happened. I've got a trailered 115 Suzuki in my shop that is making white oil. It runs great otherwise, As far as the boat goes, Maycraft is a cheaper boat. Supposedly they started using the old Sea Ox molds. Its a small company off 95 in Wilson NC. I think its a bit overpriced and that hull doesn't look like ts going to ride that well
