Default Hardware

Hi guys new to the site. i just picked up a 78 v20 from a neighbor of mine for a great price. it just needs a few things. does anyone know a site or a place that makes stock hardware for the v20. Ive been looking for the windshield supports everywhere and cant seem to find anything close to it. also wanted to see if anyone knew where i could find the later 80s model console, my neighbor destoyed the one thats on there. thanks for any info.

Hi Austin. Welcome aboard. Do a search on his site for the windshield supports. If memory serves me correctly this topic came up a few times already. As far as the console goes and actually pretty much everything else, a picture of what you want or describe is worth a thousand words... plus we love boat porn on this site.

Welcome to the site I also have a 78 steplift It's a great boat I to had a hard time finding those supports a few years back If I needed them today I would make my own using 7/8 s .s . Pipe and get the brackets for a Bimini top a little ingenuity would go a long way.. How is your bow rail? Would love to see pics of your new boat

If you go Step's route, you might find the Bimini hardware at www.marinepartdepot.com Very good prices in my experience.

These were a perfect match for an '84.

Be warned, these are not intended as a hand grip! They have ball ends. the old ones were so corroded they didn't move but new ones can pull right out if you're trying to keep from falling...

I found the 13" windshield supports which exactly matched mine on my 77 I am modernizing at $21 on Ebay.....http://www.ebay.com/itm/200633263615...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
