| and while we're at it..... 5200????

so a guy from a bicycling forum I frequent sent me a bike seat for the cost of shipping. it's a $125. dollar saddle but it has a small cut toward the horn (nose). the cut is about 1.5mm by 6mm. it's white. i'm thinking of filling it with 5200 and letting it cure with a piece of wax paper over it. think it'll work?? it's HD vinyl over foam backing. don't know if you guys knew but i'm an avid cyclist. the group I ride with calls me "the cannibal".

I got some vinyl repair stuff in a tube from an auto supply store that worked great on my boat top. I used a piece of plastic bag when I clamped it. You might use a small piece of plastic and some tape (like a band aid) to pull the edges of the gap together.
